I still try to get the wonders in order to deny them for others.ĭon't forget that your influence circles grow the more influence your system produces. I suggest you just try to get a hold of the industry and food relic boni (empire and home system hero) in order to get a lead on system developments. These developments allow you to use a mechanic similar to peaceful conversion to donate systems to the academy, at which point they'll count towards your expansion victory (they don't count to your system count however) and they'll also provide you with some ressources (dust, science, influence). These buildings reduce your planet fids to 0 (system development FIDSI that produce values per planet/flat values/etc, rather than +X per pop still produce ressources even if you have temples of lost). The mechanic that you're supposed to use to get science is using the temples of the lost. Try to get as much science as you can from minor civs, especially with development grants and economy hacks if you can get those and it's reasonable. The rest is cut in half aswell, but that still means that science buildings can be worth it. The science trait takes all the science produced by pops being on a planet, not the science that pops produce themselves (for example sophon pops give 1 science and 3 on a cold planet, although that will be affected by the 50% reduction effect). You're very dependant on having a good home system, since your planet fills quickly, though. While you don't have much of a headstart in terms of FIDS, using this allows you to keep your advantage for longer. These things combined can be pretty strong, but most importantly, you can sell your luxury ressources and strats right away to get dust to buy these things out. So you can get alot of food from intensive cultivation (unique tier 1), maybe intensive cultivation logistics (tier 2 food tech which gives % food per luxury deposit), and you start with green fertility bill which gives +%FIDS depending on how many anomalies you have in a system. Not quite related to the science problem, but i also want to mention that you start with the market tech, the buyout tech and system development unlocked. So if you have all 4 skills unlocked, you get 40% industry, 40% influence, 40% damage and 40% hp (not sure whether these are the exact stats but you get the point). There's 2 eco categories and 2 fleet categories. The relics on heroes are also pretty good. That's not shockingly much, but it's efficient. You can assign 4 in the empire screen as long as you have enough temples and they give +10% on either food, industry, influence, or dust. They are pretty good when assigned, wheras the passive science gain isn't that great. That aside, since it'll get patched out anyways and it's bug abuse: Well, right now they're bugged so you can build graviton shielding on repeat.
